Given up because owner had personal problems, now PRINCE has a real problem too--could die tomorrow, June 26*****Prince stress pants here and is uncomfortable, but allowed all handling*****At intake, was friendly to strangers and dogs***Good behavior has continued, Prince greets other dogs with a charming smile and wagging tail***** A volunteer writes: Prince misses his people and his freedom and waits right by the door, so eager for a chance to go outside that I assume Im about to be taken for a run yet so easy to handle once leashed that its hard to believe I ever doubted him. Strolling along at a steady pace, using the facilities immediately and greeting other dogs we pass with his most charming smile and a frantically wagging tail, Prince is at his best when hes engaged in exploring the world and hed love to find a forever family that enjoys the great outdoors as much as he does. His former owner tells us that in addition to being house trained Prince is also paper trained, knows how to sit on command and as with most family pets he likes to be petted and hugged and should go to a home with a lot of love to give. My handsome friend is feeling quite stressed by all the sudden changes in his life and he can get a bit jumpy when confined in a pen but Prince has a good heart and all he needs is a stable home and the firm but gentle guidance of a loving parent to return him to his noblest self.
