Giving Back Life has never had any Guarantees and because of this we find ourselves needing a compassionate hand from time to time. When a group of people who care come together with commitment and honor, there is no doubt awesome things will happen. I am so proud of the people who work with us either as employees or sub-contractors. We have had the privilege to help a few people this year and here is a little about them and those who gave money and time: ********** Nicholasville, Kentucky News Chanel 27 aired a story of a family in need after their child was diagnosed and treated for cancer. They had flooring but needed installation. I called and was immediately contacted back by the Monica from Wish Upon A Hero Foundation. She brought me together with Shawna & Brandon and their three children (Ages 14, 12 & 11). I soon found that cancer was only the beginning. After their oldest daughter was treated for cancer she also went into renal failure and had to have a kidney transplant. A Lot for one family to endure but it does not stop there. Their middle daughter had a heart attack due to a defect in her heart and underwent heart surgery to correct it. The main concern is all the dangerous health issues caused by carpeting that most people do not even know about, that could cause complications that could be deadly for these children. Hard surface flooring has to be installed. I soon fell in love with their family and knew this was not an accidental meeting but a true God appointment. Through the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation and Lowe’s Home Centers, Nicholasville all the hard-surface flooring was donated free of cost. Myself, Todd Keys and my business partner Marty Poynter along with DJ McAfee and Seth Carter soon jumped in to get started. It has taken several days to complete the two story installation along with the trim but I am proud to have had the chance to give this to them in time for the holidays. My life is more blessed with them part of it now and I know the other men feel the same way. **********Paris, Kentucky (Our first Outreach Project) Copper had been stolen from a house and the heat pump completely destroyed. Donna, the owner of the property, is a retired widow and on a fixed income. She had employed a contractor to help her with repairs around her home but was taken advantage of. Donna never received what she was promised and never refunded her money or given back tools that were taken. She was given space heaters to heat a few rooms with and was expected to live this way. We were able to use our guys for a few inside repairs. Immediately, we contacted our sub-contractors and suppliers. Without hesitation the buzz started spreading and we were able to get a brand new heat pump to complete installation. The group of individuals who stepped up humbly took their time and resources to make this happen are: Tom Schwartz – TS Piping (our pluming contractor) Tom was the first to step up with money and resources to help. He was able to get us in contact with Jeff Fristoe who gave the labor for installation and the unit at his cost. Once his supplier found out that we were doing this to help someone they gave the unit at half their cost also. Donna is now with heat and no longer relying on space heaters to stay warm although there are still things that need to be done we are hopeful that we can help some more in the future. ********** Anyone needed or know of someone needing help can contact us here for an application. We never guarantee help but everything will be considered in making decisions on the needs of others. Deuteronomy 15:10 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.
