Giving service - Dawa Dolma B294 This year will be my second year of service at S.M.D school. I am delighted to be able to help others with similar background like mine, especially kids who remind me of myself when I first came to the school. I also feel very proud to have lived up to Thrangu Rinpoches aim. His aim is to help others and provide the tools of modern education, the most efficient tool . I love being a kindergarden teacher, which is a great challenge for me. I take pleasure in observing how the children respond to each other wether they are inside or outside the class. Their innocence, vulnerability and intelligence make it very enjoyable to work with them. Apart from full day time teaching at S.M.D school, I also volunteer in Pawo Monastery which is nearby our school. I teach English and Social Studies to those young monks from age 12 to 20. Its a great exchange for me, because I can learn Buddhism from them. I strongly believe that I am capable of bringing forth my students good qualities by giving them the right feedback and encouragement. I strive to be a real model for these kids.
