Giving thanks for meeting and knowing one of the most sincerest beings in the Universe.....being able to call her a sista and a friend and meaning it. Love myself some Dee Dee M. Cocheta. Its rare when you have such a connection that words cant describe. How did she know STATES AWAY when my hubby was murdered when EYE was too much of a wreck to tell anyone?! Yet, within 48 hours, EYE was getting the call of condolences and comfort. She knew EYE had lost my soul mate...and wept with me (silent and in strength)...as sisters do. Ahhh....the same spirit that upon coming up to NC for an event and noticing my diet had went waaaaay south from where it was when EYE was in the ATL, she goes, EYE know Imani is NOT eating any pork!! Maaan!! You MISSED people who under/innerstand the TRUE YOU and your struggle and remind you of who YOU really ARE. But then again.....that IS what twins do, huh? Walking this Saturday in solidarity with my family. Missing Dee Dee...and just sharing thoughts. #twinspirits
