Glen Lake Protective Association – Regular Meeting Agenda: May 12, 2014 ** Please bring any Memberships, Receipts, Bills or other Correspondences to the Secretaries and/or Treasurer before the meeting begins ** Reminder to members and new persons that the GLPA follows Robert’s Rules of Order. Therefore, (1) please direct all comments to the official presiding over the meeting or to the person directed to respond to questions per agenda business; (2) please raise your hand to be called on to speak, and please state your name for the record; (3) if you are requesting an action, we ask that you do so in the form of a motion; (4) a reminder that according to our Constitution only full members are able to vote on motions. 1) Call Meeting to Order 2) Acceptance of Minutes by Motion Officers and Committee Reports 3) President’s Report – Paul Derby (a) update on Aquathol spot treatments late spring 2014 – Notification Letters were mailed and notice posted in newspaper. Now await Allied Bio plant survey to determine areas of spot treatments and completion of permit with DEC. Anticipate early June application given late spring conditions. (b) follow up with lake resident on beaver activity and removal of debris from last fall beaver dam at inlet/Canbterbury bridge. (c) Mary Sicard death and donation by the GLPA to Bay Ridge Fire and Rescue 4) Treasurer’s Report – Lorrie Graves 5) Secretary Reports – Recording – Sue Herlihy Membership - Linda Clark 6) Committee Reports: Standing • Dam Committee – Don Milne (chair) • Environmental Committee – Ken Minges (chair) a.
