Glenn Fords story is all too familiar in the American Criminal - TopicsExpress

Glenn Fords story is all too familiar in the American Criminal Justice System, although it is a story many want to ignore. An African-American male accused, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death for a crime he did NOT commit. While this case took place in the Deep South, it is the latest in a long line of cases from across the country. Wrongful convictions are piling up faster than the snow and yet states such as Texas and Florida have active execution chambers. The United States use of capital punishment is shared by countries such as China, N. Korea, Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Pakistan, and Vietnam. As the old saying goes: One is judged by the company one keeps.
