Global Concepts International School Weekly Report Primary Class Nov. 3-7, 2014 It has been a busy week for us. We have been learning 2 new songs – Walking in the Jungle and Mr. Clickerty cane. We have learnt the words in school on Thursday and Friday and children are enjoying it. During the week we helped the gardeners to clean up. We helped by raking the leaves. We looked for bugs and insects and we were excited to find some worms! We also spoke about the coming winter and exchanged ideas on where bugs and birds will go to when the weather gets colder. Our main circle time topic this week was continents. We learnt the continent song and named the 7 continents. We also pointed to each continent where are friends come from. Upper primary children can already name almost all the continents. They even traced them, colored and cut them out during Montessori time. Library books have been sent home to children who returned their books. Please bring back your Library books next week. We are missing 14 books and we would appreciate it if you would bring it back.
