Glorious Day, Friends! Okay, so far so good on the Lady - TopicsExpress

Glorious Day, Friends! Okay, so far so good on the Lady Guinevere front. I snapped these photos just a short while ago. As you can see her teets have developed noticeably, along with her utter. These are dramatic changes that have happened only in the past 14 days or so. My son explained that because ewes have only two teets, if Guinevere gives birth to triplets, the third baby will need to be fed by bottle. Hence the expression bottle baby among sheep farmers. My son just went out to feed Guinevere and Sir Barton and they both behaved normally. Although Sir Barton does seem to sense that something is up. We feel it, too. Theres definitely a feeling of high anticipation in the air. On the down side, we wont be able to attend our sons friends 16th birthday party this evening, like we planned. With our luck, Guinevere would give birth exactly while we were all away partying. Stay tuned for further updates! Love, Dr. G
