Glynde Mini Mart. Made the journey from the inner city, we were in - TopicsExpress

Glynde Mini Mart. Made the journey from the inner city, we were in for quite the experience. The lovely old duck behind the counter gave us a big smile as we ordered two roast pork rolls so we were off to a good start. Meat: 4/5. Decent amount but could have done with more crackling. Juicy and full flavoured. Salad: 4.5/5. Damn near perfect. Chirri: 5/5. Perfect amount. Ask for more if you want to clean out your system. Corri: 5/5. Superb. Just superb. That brings us to the unfortunate topic of the bread. Had to give it a 1/5 which is a real shame considering the rest of the roll was excellent. Bread was soft, no crunch, I almost shed a tear eating the roll because I knew Id have to mark it down overall. Overall: 3.5/5. Hopefully the bread is only a temporary issue. As we were leaving, we snuck a peek over the fence and found the mythical mountain of bread, left outside in the vain hope that the sun would crisp it up a bit.
