Gm FB todays word is coming from Psalms 119:1-8 You’re blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. You’re blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him. That’s right—you don’t go off on your own; you walk straight along the road he set. You, God, prescribed the right way to live; now you expect us to live it. Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set; Then I’d never have any regrets in comparing my life with your counsel. I thank you for speaking straight from your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways. I’m going to do what you tell me to do; don’t ever walk off and leave me.( translation) This morning I woke up with the song Im on the right road now playing in my head. Have you ever been driving down a road and minutes later you find that you have been going in the wrong direction. Now to continue down that road once you realize the truth is something short of insanity. You know you going wrong and all the signs point to it but you continue on the same path. Somebody today is on the wrong path. You know it, everyone around you knows it, and God knows it. He has sent you sign after sign, warning after warning. He says if you just turn...turn from your wrong direction. Turn from your wicked ways and he would save you. Sometimes its hard to do what you know you should do. I know. I once had a dream about a relationship in which I was so in love. But the relationship caused me to sway from God. And god in his faithfulness and love, kept sending signs. In the dream he showed me going down a road. And as long as I was by myself, I was going straight. But every time I would get in the car with my boyfriend, we go straight for a while but then we would drive of a cliff. And I knew that god was trying to tell me thAt I was not on the right road. My attention had been diverted. Things in life will do that. But once you realize that you are going wrong, turn! God will always give you signs. You can simply obey them or ignore them. But one thing is certain. There are two roads in life. One leads to heaven. One leads to hell. Which road are you on?
