Go:Cycling/Safe 2 Cycle Wibsey Wednesday Wheelers June/July Sessions 12 June – Malcolm will be helping those who have been out onto the road once with a few more tips and some real on-road experience Francine will be helping those who would prefer to stay in the park. 19 June – Malcolm will be showing those who would like to learn how to change a puncture and Francine will be helping people get to grips with gears cycling round the park. 26 June –Meeting at Spen Valley Greenway we will be taking those of the group who would like to join us on a 10 mile (approx) ride on a traffic free route. We will bring the bikes and helmets. 3 July –Meeting again at Spen Valley Greenway we will be taking those of the group who would like to join us on a 5 mile (approx) ride on a traffic free route. We will bring the bikes and helmets. 10 July – A mix of basic bike maintenance, road cycling and cycling in the park. 17 July – A mix of basic bike maintenance, road cycling and cycling in the park. 24 July – Meeting at Saltaire we will be taking the group on a ride along the canal towpath to Rodley and back. We will bring bikes and helmets. Sorry the towpath is narrow in parts so unsuitable for very wobbly cyclists. Please note: Places on the away day rides will be limited to the number of bikes available. A booking system will operate for the rides at the sessions on 19.6.13 and 17.7.13.
