Gobble up Hunger food drive! Washington Township has 150 families in need this holiday season! Please donate non perishable food items between the dates of November 12th and November 27th to your childs class. You can even leave them at the entrance of TJ with your childs name and teachers name attached. Suggested items include: turkey gravy, instant or canned potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, pasta, pasta sauce, rice apple sauce, soup, canned beans, canned peas, canned carrots, etc.... The school which donates the most non perishable food, (which will be Thomas Jefferson, of course), will receive the coveted and prestigious, Gobble Up Hunger Turkey that will be housed at our school for the entire year! Regardless of which school wins the overall trophy, the individual classroom that brings in the most non perishable food items will win a pizza party sponsored by the WTEA! As always, your generosity is very much appreciated. Around this time of the year though, we are especially thankful for your donations. THANK YOU!!!
