God Bless the USA. 9/11/01 - it was a Wednesday, my second day in processing at the Defense Intelligence Agency. I was across the river at Bolling AFB. I heard the crash, i felt the crash, i saw the smoke and braced for more air strikes, blind to how many more planes were headed in our direction. It took me almost five hours to get home that day. Many of my later friends shared stories of walking home from the Pentagon (they lived in MD and Woodbridge). The entire city was on lock down. Two days later I would be cleared and start my new position on the eighth corridor of the Pentagon. It seemed like the entire country united in the coming year. Signs, stickers, flags. Let us not forget, let us not become desensitized, we remain their enemy, we as a country MUST remain united! One country under God! Have a great day FB fam!!!!
