The new look training courses at The Space offer the exciting option for young aspiring dancers wishing to pursue a career in both Contemporary dance and the Commercial scene. At The Space we want to create the best possible chance for you to have a successful and fulfilled career in dance and our highly experienced teaching faculty are dedicated to realizing your dream. Under the direction of our new Artistic Director, Adam Wheeler our Contemporary program has never looked stronger. Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the Contemporary dance industry to the already well-established commercial training program The Space offers. A little bit about Adam. Adam has had a long and extended relationship with Australia’s leading arts organisations, including Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc, Opera Australia and The Australia Ballet. He also created and is the Artistic Director of 2ndToe and Yellow Wheel, which offer employment opportunities in performing, choreography and teaching. His invested interest in dance development has seen him make work and teach all over the country and his Contemporary System of Training, delivered through ATOD is taught across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.
