God created a poet in his own image Take a trip with me as I unfold the untold stories of poetry,and let the words mould from my tongue to my lips and drip like the sweet drops of honey. See!!poetry is merely just words that cum together to blend and mend with the way of life. It is this words that elevates thoughts and even though at times I speak failing to make sense,but in defence this words speak through for themselves. So!! it is not i that preaches this speech,i do not try to teach . i am however the umbilical cord between a mother and childs conversation before birth,so therefore I remain uncut. Poetry is the common frequency of lifes tune,were we all speak the same language. The essence of poetry is our state of thought,it could reach ground level or be as rich as the african soil. reaching great heights of fantasy nd ecstasy where poetry is the prayer. I define poetry as every word that slips from my lips nd make love to the naked ear. I define poetry as every word that slips from my lips giving birth to wealth,for every breathe is worth the celebration that comes forth. I define poetry as the ancestor that speaks from within. Poetry is my ancestor nd thru speaking it i embrace it. This movement called rhythm nd poetry(RAP) is forever expanding,its has no ending,no limits,no life span. So i can never define poetry,but poetry defines me. I am defined as poet! a poet by right, a poet by word, a poet by religion. I am poetry! But if not...it not a poet, Then at least I have written down poetry.
