God gave the authoritative direction which calls for action from us. Be is a verb. A verb is a word of action; therefore, “be” is something we must do, we must take action. Holy is an adjective it describes an attribute of something. REASON: - For I am Holy. Therefore we are to be like God – (HOLY) for one of His attributes is Holy.
