God has a GREAT PLAN to reunite us with those of us who are in Christ who have went on to be with the Lord. We are told in I Thessalonians chapter four beginning in verse 13 through 18; And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: LET ME REPEAT THIS, We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet Him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words. WE have this among all the other HOPES that God will one day reunite us with ALL of the believers who have died and went on to be with the Lord up to the day of His return. This is what Lord Jesus has to tell us; Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also…(John 14:2-3) These plans are for those who believe that Jesus is God and have committed their lives to Him. Those who have committed their lives are NOT perfect and still make mistakes. The BIG difference between their mistakes, which are sins, and those who have not committed their lives to God through, by and in Jesus is this: My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. He Himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but also the sins of the entire world. And we can be sure that we know Him if we obey His commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s Word truly show how completely they love Him. That is how we know we are living in Him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. (I John 2:1-6) God’s commandments are based on a foundation that is all wrapped up in one single commandment. Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before. Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining. If anyone claims, “I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer that person is still living in darkness. Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble. But anyone who hates a fellow believer is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness. (I John 2:7-11) We need a relationship with God and the ONLY way to have a REAL relationship with God is to learn who Jesus is, what He did, what He taught and what He stands for. First we need to understand in the deepest region of our heart that Jesus is actually the Son of God. Here is some of the evidence; although this list is not exhaustive, youll find 44 messianic predictions clearly fulfilled in Jesus Christ, along with supporting references from the Old and New Testament. The crucifixion was prophesied in Scripture 1,000 years before Jesus Christ was born. The Old Testament contain many passages about the Messiah—all prophecies Jesus Christ fulfilled. For instance, the crucifixion of Jesus was foretold in Psalm 22:16-18 approximately 1,000 years before Christ was born, long before this method of execution was even practiced. Isaiah 53:5-12 Romans 5:6-8 This is just the TIP of the iceberg so to speak…In that among these MESSIANIC Prophecies that He fulfilled, Prophecies that were spoke hundreds of years before He was even born mind you. Lord Jesus fulfilled 353 specific prophecies concerning His birth, life, death and resurrection. AGAIN, these foretelling words from the Prophets of God were written in the Word AKA the Bible, HUNDREDS of YEARS, long before He was ever even born. So, that was some of the evidence that Jesus is the literal Son of God, what next? We need to choose His plan and that plan begins with understanding HOW to get to God in prayer. Lord Jesus explains it like this; “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in Me. There is more than enough room in My Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with Me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.” “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas, said. “We have no idea where You are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus told him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me. Lord Jesus is the ONLY Way to Father God in heaven. He is the Truth in every single solitary concern or question that has, is or ever will be thought of or asked and He is the divine foundation to a Life that has more than just a direction, Life in Jesus Christ is with an eternal purpose and a destination that we cannot even imagine. God tells His people and those who are in Christ that: “ I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes… (Jeremiah 29:11-14) It is my hope that after you have read this, you understand that a baby that was born in a manger a little over 2,000 years ago, grew up and proved that He is indeed the Son of the ONLY Living God in heaven. My hope is that you now know that you need to become part of the plan that God, the creator of you and I, made long before we were ever even born. As He tells us; “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, whoever loves God is known by God. God’s eyes saw your unformed body; all the days ordained for you were written in His book before one of those days even came to be. Jeremiah 1:5, I Corinthians 8:3, Psalm 139:16) God tells us; “But what does it say? THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART -- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation… I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges Me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household. Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God. ( Romans 10:8-10, Luke 12:8, Acts 16:31, I Peter 1:21) YOU are important to God, everything about you is unique and everything about you matters. He made you exactly the way He intended, and He equipped you with everything you need. Accepting Jesus in your life as personal Lord and eternal Savoir is the beginning of a journey that is never ending. Confessing and repenting, stop doing the sins that God calls sins is a perquisite to starting that journey. After committing and dedicating our life to God through, by and in Jesus Christ, it is up to each of us to seek the Lord in daily prayer, reading His Word the Bible, meditating on what we read and doing what we learn. This journey is not to be taken lightly; the world does not appreciate God and will always be here to temp, defy and hinder us from living for God in Jesus. BUT I have told you these things, so that in Jesus you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! Jesus has ALREADY overcome the world. Lord Jesus tells us “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first. In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (John 16:33, John 14:27, John 15:18, Romans 8:37) If you have chosen to become part of this eternal plan of God’s, you can pray a prayer tike this: (This is kind of long but it is well worth your time, I promise.) My dear Lord Jesus I come to you now to be restored in You, to be renewed in You, to receive Your love and Your Life, and all the grace and mercy I so desperately need this day. As Your disciple I renounce all other gods, all idols, all behaviors, attitudes and actions, and all ways of thinking that do not fit in with Your Kingdom. I give You the place in my heart and in my life that You truly deserve. Search me and know me. Grant to me the grace of Your healing and deliverance, and a deep and true repentance. Forgive me for my every sin as I forgive those who have sinned against me. In particular I repent of: (now name the junk that has been collecting in your life) Jesus, thank You for coming to ransom me with Your own Life. I give myself over to You, to be one with You in all things. And I receive all the work and all of the triumph of Your cross, death, blood and sacrifice for me, through which I am atoned for, I am ransomed and transferred to Your kingdom, my sinful nature is removed, my heart is circumcised unto God, and every claim made against me is disarmed this day. I now take my place in Your cross and death, through which I have died with You to sin, to my flesh, to the world, and to the evil one. Every day and I now take up my cross and crucify my flesh with all its pride, arrogance, unbelief, and idolatry and anything else I am currently struggling with. I put off the old self and I ask You to apply to me the fullness of Your cross, death, blood and sacrifice making me clean, new and holy. I receive this new, holy Life with thanks and give it total claim to my spirit, soul and body, my heart, mind and will. Jesus, I believe that You have chosen me. You have made me new. You have cleansed me and forgiven me and declared me righteous. You have made me a child of God who has adopted me into His family. You are my Savior, my Life, and my King. I honor you as my Sovereign, and having been bought with a price, that price is atoned by and in Your blood that You shed for me on Your cross. I willingly surrender every aspect of my life totally and completely to You. As a temple of Your Holy Spirit, I give you all that I am and all that I have. I give You my spirit, soul and body, my heart, mind, and will. I dedicate my life to You. I set myself apart for You. Everything I have is Yours. Father, as your child and as a temple set apart for You, my God, I ask You to fill with your Holy life-giving Spirit. I completely surrender myself to You and I ask Your Holy Spirit to fill me and to renew me. Fill every part of me and baptize me in your Spirit. Let Your living water flow through me. Thank you for proving Your love for me by sending Jesus. I receive Him and all His Life and all His work, which You ordained for me. Thank You for including me in Christ, for forgiving me my sins, for granting me His righteousness, and for making me complete in him. Thank You for making me alive with Christ, raising me with Him, seating me with Him at Your right hand, establishing me in His authority, and anointing me with Your Holy Spirit, Your love and Your favor. I receive all this with thanks and give it total claim to my life—my spirit, my soul, and my body, my heart, my mind and my will. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all, now and forever. In Jesus Holy name I ask, claim and pray, Amen WELCOME to the family! IF you have any questions, comments or what have you, please do not hesitate in contacting me. Oh yeah, you will need to begin fellow shipping with other Christians too.
