God is good in the valley and God is good on the mountain all the time God is so good. Things have been bleak the past few days .... but God has recovered us... we are coming out of this with our heart encouraged drawing strength from the Lord. Yesterday when the urologist left Indiana called and wanted our urologists number and wanted the fluid drawn off of Davids stomach. Our urologist organized it and they ended up doing a procedure the Dr didnt order... so they had to redo the procedure .... They drew 3 1/2 liters of fluid off of David and he feels soooooo much better today. They are sending the fluid for testing to ensure that there is no infection any where. I went in on both procedures. When they drained they fluid off it was extremely bloody ... we knew his hemoglobin was low but at some point post op he lost a lot of blood. A lot. He has had a stable hemoglobin for 2days HES NOT ACTIVELY BLEEDING. They will watch him over night and discharge him tomorrow if all is well. Hes on a strict diet and he will have to be closely monitored for the next few weeks to ensure no fluid returns. If it does a temporary drain will be put in. And I got a call from the oncologist as well in Indiana yesterday his pathology was cancer but they are encouraged that they got it all....!!!! Are you ready? I have longed to say these words they said he is essentially CURED!!! NO MORE CHEMO. he will go on a 2month monitoring plan with oncologist here. I thank God for his presence with us during this time. Every day I draw...we draw strength from our father. I thank you each and every one for prayers and calls and cards. Thank you sooo very much.
