God is love. God has always warned His people concerning impending judgments. Those who by faith heeded His warnings & obeyed His commands escaped all judgments untouched. But those who ignored God’s warnings & disobeyed & disbelieved, they needlessly perished. God warned Noah, “Go into the ark, you & your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.” (Genesis 7:1) Noah heeded the warning & obeyed God & he saved himself & his family. Another warning message came to Lot, “Hurry & get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!” (Genesis 19:14). Lot heeded the warning & obeyed the messengers of God & He saved himself & his family. Jesus warned His disciples of the impending destruction of Jerusalem. Everyone who heeded the warning, watched for the signs & fled from the Jerusalem, escaped untouched. Today we’re being warned of the second coming of Christ & of the impending judgment to befall the earth. Those who heed these warnings & prepare will escape & be saved. The Bible warns “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:37.
