God is present and active, as I have found many times to be most apparent where there awaits an unconditional Yes for Him. Im not talking about waiting for Him to give a prompt or challenge, BEFORE saying Yes. I am talking about answering the question, BEFORE He ever asks it. I am talking about more than prayer, reading the Bible, or performing selective works. Beyond any of those essential things that we must do as Christians, I am talking about defaulting to absolute self-denial of personal will or desire in every aspect of life; first making way for the Lords purpose. We effectively bind, gag, deafen, and blind ourselves from following His narrow path for us, when we do otherwise. However, when we submit to His will at this level, then amazing things can be experienced and witnessed. God, the great planner and builder, can come onsite at His leisure to find all needed tools and materials in a constant state of readiness for His use. He can then visibly do HIS work. That is how it should be in the life of every person who identifies with being a Christian. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) Say yes and then Amen!
