God is so good! In January of 2010, I was living in Los Angeles and was leaving Pasadena and heading home. My journey required me to take two trains and one bus. I jumped on the Gold Line and transferred over to the Red Line (subway) at Union Station, but I didnt walk off the train under my own duress. I had a seizure. I woke up in the hospital. I was crying like a baby because I had realized I didnt have my meds for the day so I was heading home to get them. Otherwise I was going to stay at my folks house. I used to have seizures as a kid from 6th grade to 10th. The last one I recall was in the fall semester of 1982. The seizures started happening again while working for Sprint in 2008. When I started working for them, I was in a store called THE SUPER CENTER. Its a huge 2 story store where traing takes place. I had no issues there. I was transferred to an Inglewood store but things werent so great at that lil store. God was just amazing in all this because I had three (3) seizures while working IN THAT store and I was driving at the time. I would drive up, walk in the store, and before I could greet and say hi to some folks... BAM! I woke up in the hospital. I wasnt claiming that first seizure cuz me and God already had an understanding that I was delivered from that mess. All was going good until St. Patricks Day, March 17, 2010. I drove myself to work, walked in, BAM! This time it was bad. I MEAN BAAAAAD! When I woke up in the hospital, my face and mouth were in so much pain. There wasnt a nurse or Dr around so what do I do? TAKE A SELFIE. And when I looked, at those pics, I just could not believe what had just happened to me. (You can go to my photo albums and view the pics if you wanna see them.) I had to get braces to correct my teeth smile, which isnt the same due to some nerve damage from my face meeting the counter (hi counter nice to meet you) I couldnt eat solid food for two (2) months. (Like I wanted to loose weight....ugh) It was life changing. On April 10, my nephews birthday, I walked in the store and.......yep you know it, BAM! This time I had a this huge knot on my head so I had to stay overnight in the hospital to make sure I didnt have a concussion. At this time.....GET MY ASTEROID OUT OF THIS STORE! STAT!!!!!!! In May I was transferred to a store inside the Beverly Center and everything was going good....UNTIL JULY! I opened the store but this time it was different. My manager, Tammy, heard my speech change while I was talking with a customer and she knew something was about to go down. Eventually, yeah it happened, BAM! I was transported across the street to the hospital and from that day, I was afraid to walk into a Sprint store. Even to pay my bill. A few months ago I went to DMV to renew my license and the lady said UH OH. I said what does UH OH mean? She said there was something that was preventing me to renew and to call this #. UGH! Come to find out, the seizure that I had on the train, was reported to DMV so I had to get a Dr release sent to DMV. That took three weeks to get. I finally got and sent it to DMV and it just took forever to clear then I had to do a reexamination over the phone last Wednesday and was cleared. I went on over to DMV today, took my test, and only missed 1 question. I say all this....no matter what the situation is, God is still in control! Matthew 17:20New King James Version (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. There are plenty of scriptures that I stood upon dealing with faith and patience. I encourage you all who read this, sometimes you dont know when that light at the end of the tunnel is going flicker, but just continue to trust and believe in God. His way is the only way!
