“God knows every thought we think!” This was a completely unexpected comment from a customer yesterday! I’ve written that several times before, so to hear it from someone who I was meeting for the very first time, really impressed me! I was so impressed with him that I hired him for a part time position we had! Another God connect for sure! But, back to that comment he made. I had just driven to work and on my way there, I thought the exact same thing, ‘God, you know every thought I think!’ A comment from someone on Facebook has encouraged me to focus on God 3 times a day and I’ve set my alarm on my phone to 7,3, and 7 to remind me to do something to focus my mind on Him. It could be from reading my meditation book for a few minutes, to reading the Bible, to listening to a spirituality podcast, just a few minutes to focus on God! “Three things I pray To see thee more clearly Love thee more dearly Follow thee more nearly Day by day” These words also were what encouraged me to do that! I’m searching for a closer walk with God and I encourage you guys to do the same! You don’t go wrong with God! I’ve beaten myself up so much lately over the fact that I’ve stopped meditating and as I randomly opened a Wayne Dyer book, ‘Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life,’ I cried as I read the following personal message from God: “If the only prayer you said in your whole life was ‘Thank You,’ that would suffice.” It was as if he was saying, “Nik, stop beating yourself up!” God, I got the message, Thank You! “Everyone has to find something!” is what Oprah said in her interview with David Letterman in regards to meditating. She said some reflective moment, even if it’s spent hugging your child, “It’s all good!” Then someone on Facebook said we just need to stop labeling everything – prayer, meditation etc. Just know you walk with God and that He’s always with you – a constant companion! That works for me! See there, I make a comment, “I don’t get this prayer thing” and answers show up from all around to guide me! Live kindly, love extravagantly and trust God always! WE GO WITH GOD!
