God says the following. Surah al-baqara (the cow). Ayat 23-24.( Chapter one verses 23-24) 23-And if you are in doubt concerning that which we reveal unto our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah (chapter) of the like thereof, and call your witness who are apart from Allah (the divine) if you are truthful. 24- But if you cannot do it, and you can never do it, then guard yourselves against a fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. ( so god basically said if you doubt the holy message he sent down to Muhammad for all humankind as guidance and a reminder, he says to produce a chapter alike to any of the ones in the quran. Now to those who know nothin about Islam. The shortest chapter in the Quran is ONLY a couple of words long, yet man cannot imitate or has imitated a chapter to be as divine as any of the Quran. That Is becuz the prophet whom peace be upon him. Did not write it himself or his followers, one because he was illiterate and couldnt read or write. And second because he never recited anything that wasnt inspired by god thru the angel gabriel. Quran literally means recitation. While human minds cannot imitate or put together a divine message in just a simple word or even a book. Al hamdolilla !
