God story ahead! Jordan and I went to Panera on N. Academy after her PT appointment. As we were looking for a place to sit, each place I headed for, my heart said no. We finally chose a table in the front where a older couple sat and some guy working on his computer. Jordan sat down and I went to get our food. We sat there and talked and ate, and I noticed as the guy on his computer got up to throw something away, he really looked at us. He went back to his table. I looked over at him, and he came over to our table. This is what he said. When you walked in, my heart broke for you both. I want you to know God can heal your child, and Id like to see her healed, may I pray for you both? So I introduced ourselves to Beaux, and he pulled up a chair with us, and we talked. Dont be sad or heart broken, I told him, Jordan is a miracle! I shared with him a little bit about our journey, Dravet Syndrome, all the awesome things God has done for us, and then the three of us joined hands, right there in Panera and prayed. I cant wait to hear what Jordan has to say when she has no more seizures, Beaux said as we parted. I assured him that she had taught me quite a lot in the past 19 years with her words and ways. You just never know where God is going to show up and meet you, even at Panera! God bless you for you kind encouragement and prayers, Beaux, hope we meet again. By the way, he works at the Extreme Pizza right next door to the Panera on N. Academy.
