God very seldom speaks to us in a loud voice, unless He is desperately trying to save us from making a huge life mistake or unless weve really pissed Him off by ignoring Him or not carrying out His will at the time that Hes trying to speak to us... (Believe me; I know... lol... I foolishly ignored His call for way too long!)... But when He speaks to us its usually as subtle as a reflection of the sky in a nearby lake or stream or even a mere whisper in the wind as it carries through the tall trees... But the key here is this: no matter how great or how small He speaks to us, we need to make sure that we listen to what Hes saying to us and then we need to do our best to carry out His will... And if we do this He will bless us beyond our wildest dreams for doing so... As a great man and a true friend of mine used to say sometimes in closing his sermon: I didnt say it; God did... And if you dont like it then I suggest you take it up with Him... That about says it all, yall... And like the words in that old Billy Preston song that are so prophetically spoken: Thats the way God planned it; thats the way God wants it to be... Think about it, yall... And from now on be sure you listen... Class dismissed...
