God works in such awesome ways. This afternoon I was upset because i was missing my sons district track meet and hadnt made any of the others, either. As I tend to do when I am alone in my car, I spoke my frustrations out loud to God, telling Him that I worried about Ryley not having anyone cheering for him and how unfair it seemed that I have cheered for so many of my students over the years, but was not there for my son. Suddenly, i got this text from an unknown number mom- its Ryley. You wont believe this. You know Cole, your student who used to be QB for Central? The one who we always went to watch when I was little? Hes here- at my meet! I didnt recognize him at first, but he knew me and came to shake my hand. It was awesome! Talk about God replying to my comments- not only did my son have a fan in the stands, it was one of those students that I mentioned having cheered for. Wow!
