GodTalk is a group that meets to discuss the issues that affect us as Christians, as well as students. We meet between 12-1pm on Mondays over lunch, in the Oxford Brookes Chaplaincy. Bring a sarnie for yourself, and well put the kettle on. Whatever your views, you are wholeheartedly welcome! Here are some of the things well be discussing in the next few weeks! Christianity On Film - How are Christians portrayed on screen, both at the cinema, and on TV? How does this affect the way we live? Christianity & Mental health - As awareness of mental ill-health increases, how can we as Christians are for one another, what signs should we look out for, and how does mental health fit in with our faith? Conflicting Traditions - There are many traditions within Christianity, some are simple differences of taste, some have deep theological divides. This is a time to discuss what makes us uncomfortable, and to ask ourselves why? Christian History & Heritage - Christianity has a huge heritage, and a long history, what were the most momentous markers in our two thousand year history?
