~God’s Word is Settled~ God’s Word is settled in Heaven But is it settled on earth? Not in the lives of millions Who do not value its worth God says it is settled forever Without question, beyond dispute Set upon a permanent basis – His Holy, enduring truth. More firm than the rock of Gibraltar Established on solid ground An impregnable, mighty stronghold – Comparable words can never be found. Well here is the heart of the matter Can I stake all my life upon it? There is just no doubt about it I answer, a million times yes If I were to stand and defend it In a court of law today Many would witness against it But no judge could lock it away. Now I would issue a warning More serious than I can convey To those who are changing God’s Holy Word – If they don’t repent and pray A dire sentence in Revelation: All the plagues written in that Book Will be given to them if they add one word To God’s manuscript pure and good And their names will be ripped from the Book of Life If they dare take one word from His Book.
