God’s love for you moves Him, it is something He is passionate about today! The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV The imagery here is so beautiful and comforting. Take the time to meditate on this verse. Let it sink deep down into your soul. Allow God to minister to you. This thing we call Christianity is after all a relationship. It is a loving relationship between you and your God! God is not on some distant planet out in space. He is in your midst today. He is with you in the morning when you rise up out of bed. He is with you in your times of trial and suffering. He is with you when you rejoice. He is with you when you mourn! God’s power and might is incomprehensible today. We cannot even begin to understand the creative energy He possesses today. In all of creation He has no equal. He alone has the power of life and death He today. He has chosen to save people who honor Him. He is blessed by people who choose to receive His love and mercy today! He will quiet you with His love today. Sometimes when a small child is injured or frightened all it takes is a loving parent to scoop the child up and hold him for the beloved child to be comforted. God is our loving Heavenly Father. He will comfort you when comfort is what you need. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will rejoice over you with singing. Imagine Almighty God, The Creator of Heaven and Earth rejoicing over you with gladness and singing today! What would cause God to rejoice over you this way? He rejoices over you because He is moved by His love for you today! God’s love for you is not a statement of fact to be recited and repeated like the weather. It is not antiseptic and emotionless. His great love for you is something He is passionate about today. He gave His one and only Son whom He loves without measure for you. God chooses to Love you today!
