Going beyond our rational faculty does not mean abandoning it altogether. It means reaching the higher planes of consciousness, and thus, allowing them to reshape and illumine our rationality, allowing them to shed their light on its dark corners, so that reason can realize its true origin, purpose and worth, so that it can find the true sphere of its dominance and stop crossing its limit. In ordinary human minds, reason acts just like a tyrant does and attempts to ruduce every knowledge, both material and spiritual, to mere thoughts and ideas, and being inspired by its false success, start treating the entire universe as its subject, as its slave, though it itself, regardless of its monumental effort. is a slave to ignorance.
