Going by the many inbox messages I have been receiving lately, I am realizing a lot of people are confused on what exactly is going on with Daddy.. So Im going to attempt to explain without giving unnecessary information that is private.. My daddy has liver cancer. We have taken him to get multiple opinions, one from MD Anderson, and the facts are, that it is not treatable. While things have progressed faster than we could have been prepared for, ole Steve is still a jokester, whose pain is under control, and pride is still intact. We are blessed that his and moms financial situation is not an issue, and his hospice nurse is a wonderful girl. It is a hard fact to accept and we have faith that The Lord is with us all and is in control of the situation. His comfort is our priority. The entire family appreciates all of the heartfelt gestures from everyone. Time is all mom (Margie), Jenna, Cole, the rest of the family, and I are concerned with. We want as much as possible with him, and all the errands and cooking have given us some time back that we would have spent doing those things ourselves. So thank you. People have always commented on what a tight family we are, and that will not change. Right down to the day that Dads view of us all is from up above. Thanks for the prayers. They were appreciated and are still welcomed.
