Going out in style Joe and I know you were watching this and loving it. This was the greatest outpouring of love Ive ever personally witnessed and Im honored to have been there. Im also honored to have known you and had you as a son in law and a friend. I would have loved to have seen you one more time before you crossed over to the other side but I never dreamed this would happen, it never crossed my mind. So many of us take life for granted and pass up opportunities to see a friend or family member and tell them we love them. I hope you know I love you and how much you really meant to me. I think many of us learned a lot from you in life and in your death. In life you were always there for anyone who needed you and you turned many frowns into smiles. In death, you brought a community together to mourn our loss and celebrate your life and not one person there wasnt filled with overwhelming grief. Also not one person there wasnt touched by what we were seeing and in typical Joe style, even today, you turned many frowns into smiles if only for a moment. I will sure miss you brother and you didnt live long enough but you sure lived. Now go put your toes in the water, your ass in the sand, cast out your line with a cold Miller Lite in your hand....live free & fly high brother, live free & fly high.
