Going to take Miss Estelle down to Dr. Monto today and see if she is strong enough, healthy enough, and yes big enough at 1.4 pounds now to get her first vaccine. Still coughing a little she is at least playing and active which makes me feel better. But she just does not grow. She also has decided the only thing she needs to eat is CHEESE, only sharp cheddar at that, and only if I shred it. SIGH!!! So to try to give her a balanced diet I am now discovering ways to camouflage other food with CHEESE. I am afraid I am creating a monster in a tiny, tiny package but she has to eat and I cave instead of insisting she eat her puppy food. Last night I discovered she will also eat homemade biscuits with butter and jam, not the sauteed scallops and shrimp , or the baked chicken breast , baked potato, or green beans I also fixed, just the butter and jammed biscuits. Knowing her I am sure she would have turned her darling little snoot up at biscuits from a tube, ie Pillsbury, but come to think of it so woudl I. Like Mother like Daughter in this case.
