Gold Country Mule and Donkey Show October 26th and 27th, 2013 Sacramento Horsemen’s Arena, Sacramento, CA Camping: Limited hook-ups available on first reserved basis ( water & power ). No stalling available but there is plenty of room for portable corrals or high lining. Camping: $15 per night Camping fee’s to be paid with entry fees. General Information: 1. Complete one entry form for each animal or team. Must include AMA numbers for owners, exhibitors and animals. 2. Class fee of $18 includes AMA fee. ( $2.00 post entry fee ) 3. Make copies as needed for each entry. 4. Entry deadline October 21st. Post entries will be accepted, must enter by 8am each day. 5. All exhibitors must sign the release of liability waiver. 6. NO DOGS ALLOWED ON SHOW GROUNDS OFF LEASH, this rule will be strictly enforced. 7. Please make checks payable to Jessica Bishop. General Class Information: • AMA Rules apply to all AMA approved classes. • Judges decisions are final. • Be ready at the gate for your class, once the gate is closed, no admittance. If you have a conflict please notify the ring crew to make arrangements. • All ties will be broken; AMA point system will be used to calculate high point awards. • All class awards, Ribbons 1st -6th place. Cash payout (1st $25, 2nd $15 & 3rd $10) for all classes. High Point: High point awards will be awarded in the following categories and classes. Bridled Mule: 7, 10, 13, 15, 22, 26, 46, 47 ( 2 or 3 ) Green Mule: 8, 11, 14, 16, 23, 27, 48, 49 ( 2 or 3 ) Youth ( same youth/mule combination ): 6, 9, 12, 24, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 43 Donkey: 25, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44, 45 ( 4 or 5 ) Driving ( team or single ): 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 Gymkhana: 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 Jackpot Classes: Classes 28-32 will have an added jackpot of $10 per class. Pay out as follows: 4 or fewer entries – Pay 1-2 monies 6 – 10 – Pay 3 monies Over 10 – Pay 4 monies AMA Representative: JoDe Collins Show Judge: Chris Bugenig Concession Stand: A reasonably priced concession stand will be open all day serving breakfast & lunch Saturday & Sunday. Dog Costume Class: Please join us after the final class on Saturday evening for a fun costume class for the dogs. A $5 donation is requested for each entry. All proceeds will be presented to Wind Song Animal Sanctuary Foundation Inc. Saturday Dinner: Please join us for a dinner social Saturday evening. We will be serving tri-tip, or chicken, side, salad and dessert ( bring your own beverage ) $10 per plate, please make your dinner reservations on your entry form so enough food can be ordered. Dinner will start after the dog class but not before 6 pm. Tables will be set up, please bring a chair.
