Gone Girl - loved it! Lots of twists and turns make the time go by fairly quickly. People. are. messed. up. This Is Where I Leave You - I really enjoyed this one as well. Jason Bateman and Tina Fey are what drew me to this movie, and they do not disappoint. Its a familiar story to many of us, Im sure, as we all have some level of dysfunction in our families. There were some predictable plot scenarios, but there are a few surprising things to keep me interested. Speaking of dysfunction in families, I also saw The Judge. I was really hoping for more from this movie, but Im not sure what I would have done differently...maybe a little bit more development of some of the more secondary characters. Good cast and a decent, touching story, but a lot of cliches, unfortunately. Robert Duvall was excellent, and I always enjoy Robert Downey Jr. My apologies for the multiple reviews, but Im just now catching up from the past few weeks. :)
