Gone are the days when i used to write out a diet for someone! It depends on their level of motivation whether they can tolerate the bland foods and amount of time to prep! I now listen to their requirements, find out their job. Then suggest an amount of protein, carbs and fats! In gms! With options of foods! Then its up to them to workout the amounts of foods they think they can tolerate. Takes me 10 mins and is simply pointing in the right direction! However Im watching a dozen b/bs at the moment prepping for my oncoming shows and in others! I check their body fat levels and weak points and give them an honest assessment! One had lowered his carbs too low and had stopped improving! Banged them up by 250 gms and he lost 4lbs!!
