Gonna piss some folks off with this one, but here we go. Why is it that every time a celebrity dies, its a big deal? The media makes a huge deal about it and a lot of folks follow suit. When a celeb dies of natural causes or in a tragic accident I get that, but glorifying a celebs death due to a drug overdose or suicide............I find it upsetting. Im not going to say its sad that someone went the cowardly route and had to resort to taking their own life. They signed up to do what they do and the pressures that go with it. I signed up to do what I do knowing that when I go to work I may not come home, soldiers sign up to protect this country knowing that they too might not come home, risking their lives to protect our freedoms. So instead of making light of someones cowardly exit, regardless of how funny they were, today I remember a soldier, a student I helped teach, one who gave his life helping and protecting others and protecting the freedoms of our country. It doesnt seem like its been 3 years...............Riley thank you.
