Good Afternoon Bravo Families! The Trainees have wrapped up the Advanced portion of Rifle Marksmanship. Today the Trainees spent the rainy day at the Confidence Obstacle Course (COC). The COC is over 700 meters long, Trainees face a difficult test as they ascend walls, crawl under barbed wires, jump over logs, avoid ditches, slide down zip lines, crawl down ropes inverted, climb latters over 60 feet high and race at the end to earn the COC streamer for the platoon. Basically, the COC is the Armys version of McDonalds playground for big kids. Tomorrow the Trainees will head back out to the Field to participate in their Field Training Exercise 2. This will help them prepare for their culminating event at the end of the cycle. ALWAYS FORWARD!
