Good Afternoon Central West End residents and businesses: On December 15th, 2012, Norris Chalmers unlawfully entered a home in the Central West End Neighborhood. When the victims returned home they noticed their car and several electronics were stolen. They immediately contacted the police to report the incident. Police were unable to make an arrest at the time. Fingerprints collected at the scene linked Norris Chalmers to the above mentioned crime. St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department placed Norris Chalmers out wanted for Burglary 2nd, Stealing over $500.00 and Tampering with a Motor Vehicle. On February 1st, 2013, Norris Chalmers was arrested and charged with these crimes. On Thursday, June 27th, 2013, Norris Chalmers is scheduled to plead guilty to Burglary 2nd, Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Stealing over $500.00. He is to be sentenced on June 27th, 2013, at 2:00pm, by the Honorable Judge Joan L. Moriarty. The hearing will be held at the Carnahan Courthouse, 1114 North Market Street, in Division 31. In an effort to show our support for the victim and to express our concern as a neighborhood for this sort of crime we are asking that you consider attending this hearing.
