Good Afternoon Everyone! Although there are slight improvements my mom is still extremely weak and we are trying to allow my mom as much rest as possible. Yesterday was not as good of a day, but today we have seen improvement in the fluid in my moms legs. We have also seen improvements in her oxygen levels! Her respiratory therapist, Keith spent the whole day here with us, and her herbalist, Eileen has been in and out every day. They have been an amazing support and help since my mom returned home. Today I was holding her had as Keith and Eileen were talking and working on her. I heard her whisper thank-you (most conversations are in a whisper). When I asked her what she said she replied I am just talking to God. SHe is just amazing! Her doctor also came to visit yesterday, and we have all decided that at this point we are asking for no visitors. As much as we would love to see everyone, my mom is not at a point where she can visit with people, and so we are trying to keep the house as quiet as possible. This is so hard to do, because there are so many people that love my mom dearly, and so many people that she loves, but we know it is the best thing for her at this point. Thank you for your understanding! Our house has become an art studio over the past few days with my two very talented sisters home. We have all been painting pictures that reflect Gods truths and hanging them on the wall in her room. Right now we are clinging to Isaiah 118:17 I will not die, but LIVE and declare the works of the Lord. Will you pray that for my mom? We are SO grateful for all of the meals, gift cards, sweets, and encouraging messages from so many of you. When the days are busy, it takes a huge weight off of our shoulders each evening when we can all just sit down and enjoy something delicious together. :) Praises: -The love that everyone has shown our family -The comfort and peace we are experiencing -Family time -My moms amazing attitude Requests: -A complete miracle and total HEALING! -Heart rate will slow down and oxygen levels will increase, so that she can get off the oxygen -Healing and proper function of the Liver -Emotional and spiritual strength -Good appetite (she is still on a liquid diet, but we are getting calories through bone broth and turmeric tea) -Continual draining of fluids in her body, so that she will have no more edema Lots of Love, JuliAnne
