Good Afternoon Extended River Raider Family, You are now over 2 weeks complete on your journey with us through Basic Combat Training (BCT) and hopefully, you are somewhat settled into your routine. Just some notes and a challenge from me: 1. Please realize mail is slow on our end. No need to complain or get frustrated. There are many transient Soldiers on Fort Jackson, we pick up, and distribute incoming mail every weekday. 2. Glad you are enjoying the weekly photos. Please remember, these pictures are for you to see your loved ones journey through BCT and not necessarily see them. 3. Now for the challenge. While your loved one is being trained here, you can have the opportunity to increase your Army knowledge from your computer. The class is called Army Family Team Building (AFTB) – Level 1 and it is designed to equip you with basic Army information. This course is available online in English and Spanish, so follow the directions below and you can get started: a. Go to the Army One Source homepage with following address or your own search - https://myarmyonesource/default.aspx b. Register on the page –get a user ID and password c. Click on online training in upper right-hand corner d. You will see AFTB Levels 1-3 in Spanish and English e. When you are complete AFTB Level 1 (all 10 modules), scan or print screen your certificate, attach it to a private message on this page with your Soldier’s rank, full name, company, and platoon Good luck and start completing those modules.
