Good Afternoon, NWS-Mt. Holly has sent out a short term forecast for our area. The rain will continue into this evening and possibly into tomorrow. Several periods of heavy rain. later this evening, could result in roadway flooding and flooding of areas with poor drainage. Thunderstorms are possible during this time and could produce strong winds. Add this to the effects of the Super Moon and the astronomical high tide, we can expect some higher than normal high tides.
