Good Afternoon, We are in need of DONORS! Tooele County Courthouse Blood Drive is TOMORROW!! They currently only have 15 scheduled! They have promised American Red Cross 25 people signed up when they arrive tomorrow. We just need 10 more to aid us in this Life Saving Mission! Summer is their most difficult time of year to collect blood. Every donor is going to make a significant impact. Sign-up today! Many have asked how we can aid with the Oklahoma Tragedy. • We can aid in making sure there is consistent blood on the shelves so we can make the difference! In case they have to come to other states in need of blood, it is ready and available to them. • If there is ever a natural or manmade disaster here, we are prepared! • Red Cross has to collect over 2300 units of blood per week, just to stay on top of the needs here in Utah! o Please donate so the American Red Cross can supply needed blood to cancer patients, children with blood disorders and others. SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW! American Red Cross Summer Story of the Week When our daughter Lindsey was just two years old she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). She received the first of many blood and platelet transfusions, began chemotherapy and our life, in a second, changed forever. She went into remission, but halfway through first grade, Lindsey’s leukemia came back. In one year’s time, she had 130 nights in the hospital and over 100 transfusions of blood, platelets and frozen plasma. Again we were blessed and today, Lindsey is in remission. We are so grateful to the hospital, doctors, nurses and blood donors who helped save our daughter’s life.
