Good Afternoon folk. Well, this is a very bittersweet moment for me. My man, David Joel Hatchett is officially done with high school and all of its activities. Where did this time go??? Yesterday were the finals of the State Track & Field Tournament and it was a perfect, groovy day for track. There were some exciting things happening and it was nice to be there for the festivities. DJ ran in the 100 Meter Dash, 4x100 Meter Relay and the 200 Meter Dash; and medaled in all three events! Now, I have to admit that his times werent his best and he knows they couldve been much better, but nonetheless, I personally couldnt be more prouder of him right at this moment. Just to make it to the regionals is a blessing and to make it to States is a honor in itself. Great job son and now its time to take it up a notch and transition into the big league athletically, academically and with life. Now, this first video is the 100 Meter Dash and as expected, these young men were flying.
