Good Day, friends! Our God is a loving God Father God loves us to the degree that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die in our place on an “old rugged cross” that whosoever believes on Him would not perish but live forever. God sent Jesus into the world to save us and not condemn us (John 3:16-17). The question then is will such a loving God send any one to Hell? The answer is really simple: Hell was not designed for us but for Satan and his rebellious angels; however, when Adam disobeyed God’s instructions he sent the entire human race into a tailspin toward eternal damnation (Genesis 3). Thus, we were spiritually separated from God and only the blood of Jesus is able to cleanse us from sin (rebellion against God) and restore us into fellowship with the Father (Hebrews 9:22). The grace of God has been extended to all of us and we must decide on our own volition whether to accept or reject the love of God. We may choose to accept the free gift of salvation by faith and be reconciled with God (Ephesians 2:8; Colossians 1:19-21) or refuse, remain lost in sin and spend eternity in Hell. As you can see, either way it’s a personal choice. Friend, if you have not yet made your decision, the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2 “Today is the day of salvation.” Don’t wait any longer; do it now! All you have to do is “….confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, and you shall be saved” (Romans 10:9). The choice is yours; God does not send anyone to Hell; He loves us too much to do so. But our refusal to accept the finished work of Jesus on the cross will lead us into that horrible place prepared for Satan and his angels. 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us that our loving God does not desire that any one of us should perish but that we all repent and enjoy eternal life through Jesus Christ.
