Good Evening FB Family! I would like to first and foremost give honor to the Lord who is my everything. Without him I wouldnt be who I am or doing what I do. I would like to share a praise report with those who are dear to me. I was given an application to potentially participate in an upcoming training to become a Certified Peer Specialist. This means that I would be certified to counsel and motivate others with Mental Illness/ Addiction in the right direction based on my own personal experiences in the behavioral health field. In essence where only clinicians were the only source of help in these areas, God has opened doors for peers to aid each other with solutions to their struggles in life. This makes the environment a more personable one for all parties involved. So with one month to complete and submit this application I accepted the challenge. But what was a challenge for me was welcomed by my Heavenly Father cause theres nothin to hard for him. I struggled back and forth with it tryin to make sure I was accurate and precise with each response. Then everyday when I had prayer with the Father I spoke over it making sure I surrendered it all ( fears, doubts, etc.) to the one who could fight those demons best. Well, just as I suspected and knew he was taking care of it all along. I finally completed it and submitted the final product on Monday, the deadline ( yikes!). God still had his daughter well cover because there was a six to ten day window for some type of a response. Glory be to God I received an acceptance call from the chairman in two days. I say all that to say this GOD is still God in spite of it all. The same way I trust him to work on my behalf he will work it out for you!!! Please remember to praise, honor, and obey him simply because hes God all by himself. Much Love & God Bless, Rikkila C. ( aka Kita C. )
