Good Evening, Family and Friends!!! I want to thank everyone who is taking the time to read my poems, words, and shares. I want to thank everyone for the things they share too. Right now I am having a constant need to write which is something I havent been able to do with regards my poetry. Thank you for bearing with me as I work through the current emotional storms which I obviously am working through in my current poetry. I normally do not put specific names in my poetry because I prefer to keep them generic for my reader to be able to put themselves and their own experiences and needs into what I write. Im adding names for two reasons. One is because I need to speak to the people named within the poem and oddly enough poetry is the best way for me to express myself and always has been.The second reason is to break from my norm, because lets face it sometimes we need to leave the box we put ourselves in. Lastly, the people I name need to know that the poem is for them, no one else, and that I am addressing them. I hope I can be forgiven for very public way, I am working through things and again this is me going out of my comfort box. I also have nothing to hide and these days dont feel the need to be repressed by societies often strict ideas of what is appropriate or ok and what isnt. Im not an avid fan of the herd mentality a well as conformity. Im going to be doing some experimental poems and ask for those keeping track to please be open minded, as well as patient and if your name is mention for whatever reason see it as the need for me to release things that need to be released and as an apology if the apology is expressed. I hope the piccys are helping with a visualization for my words as well. Poetry for me is a written journey; no matter the subject, where it leads me and my reader, or what I am inspired to share. Not all is the beautiful, everything cotton candy view that we all would like. It is a written journey which involves vision and sound. A mental vision surrounded by music. LOL, me with cotton candy thoughts is a real rarity. Im currently seeking renewed order and calmness; a rectifying of wrongs, and a positive outcome in everything. I hope everyone has a great day or night depending on where you are in this world. Remember love does make the world turn round.
