Good Evening.... The cake has made it home safely ( fully stacked and in tacked !!! lol ) and tomorrow I will take photos so that I can show you the back of the cake, the full extent of the mechanical cogs and butterflies... which the judges were impressed with as they were all hand cut, and hand painted in various shades of metal, and also equally good comments about my metal effect flowers, In fact the overall feedback from the judges was brilliant :) Managed to meet up with some cakey friends, and also made new cakey friends... Just shows how a few cakey ingredients can pull people together xxx All in all.... its been a fantastic weekend and I am really looking forward to Manchester Cake International in February :) So now I need to concentrate on cakes due soon and organise the prepping !!!!
