Good Evening all Rock It Riders, Cyclists, Cycling Fans, Friends - TopicsExpress

Good Evening all Rock It Riders, Cyclists, Cycling Fans, Friends and Family! Today ended a great week of riding with decent temperatures and our invisible friend the wind. Each day of the week presented us with some excitement for our riding pleasure which makes this time of year so challenging and rewarding. For me this week ended my best mileage since my come back by doubling the miles put in with just under 220 miles. I can tell you my legs are beat but I feel good to be back on the bike and riding with everyone! I look forward to all the upcoming week’s challenges, excitement, solo and rides with friends… My challenge to you is to see how many days you can get out there even if it is to only ride a few miles. Challenge two: ride to the store, to work, to the gym, to a friend’s house or just around the block; use this time to enjoy the feeling of freedom and adventure, sights and sounds of life around you and as you ride smile the entire time! Since this will be a really short ride you will not need to get as fully dressed as you would normally do however, make sure you wear your helmet, gloves, jacket, pants and shoes. Take your time ride slow and always be safe… Let me know how you do, I am anxious to hear. Saturday’s all group ride saw each group with large numbers of smiling faces eager to challenge the exciting routes planned for each group. Our rest stop was at an Alpaca farm in Pemberton just past my high school Alma Mater (now it is a middle school a new high school was built on a hill about 1 mile away as the crow flies). Sunday’s ride was much smaller group but the C/D group showed up in power and enthusiastic about putting the high winds in its place. They did their intended route in reverse to so the wind would be just a little easier on them. The rest stop was at the bagel shop in Medford as usual everyone was all smiles. I would like to say, “Thank you and keep it up!” to all the group ride leaders and sweep riders. You all are doing a fantastic job keeping the rides safe, fun, together and at the advertised pace… Today was the last day for the new orders but by popular demand we are giving it one more week, so get your orders in pronto! My suggestions for this order as great buys are: arm and leg warmers, Euro cap, bandana and decals. The other items are always winners and if you are planning to ride this winter I highly recommend the winter insulated and shell jackets will certainly make your riding much more pleasant and enjoyable. If you need the full list or prices please contact me Coach JQ at: coach@wadenet It has been my pleasure riding with everyone and seeing the joys on your faces. See you next Saturday’s ride until then get out and ride and be safe! Plans for our annual dinner are coming along fine as Matt and Jorge have been working hard for this annual affair. We will be posting some new and exciting information soon so keep looking! Ride Fast, Ride Hard, Ride for Health and Enjoyment...
