Good Friday Morning! Here are todays Fast 5 Headlines! 1. The City has a warning for home owners with frozen pipes....dont connect your own hose line to your neighbours water supply. Officials say people should wait for a proper city-installed hose line to make sure the hose is installed properly and doesnt leak, and that its properly sanitized. Right now, there are close to 5500 homes at risk for frozen pipes. 2. More hardware for the Jones rink. The Jennifer Jones rink got award medallions yesterday from Mayor Sam Katz on behalf of the city. Katz said the city was very proud of the rink for bringing home the gold in Sochi. 3. The search has now been widened for that missing Malaysian airline plane. Officials have now turned their eye to the massive Indian Ocean. One U.S. official says the plane is probably at the bottom of the ocean...never to be seen again. 4. They were rockin and rollin in Japan overnight. A 6.3 magnitude quake hit the southwestern part of the country. Fortunately, only minor injuries and damage has been reported. 5. Finally today....this news a little scary. The Minot, North Dakota airbase underwent an inspection recently. The only reason they barely passed? The cooks and maintenance workers. The guys who look after nuclear missiles...well....they flunked the inspection! Have a great weekend everyone!
